Congratulations to Luxie in Tampa, Fla., who was our contest winner on “What do the Teams mean to you?” Thanks so much to Luxie for the excellent work!

Warning: The following was written during a period when I was half asleep. Very well then, proceed with caution:

A ‘Lil ditty ‘bout team Edward…

‘Cause he’s Bella’s kindred soul mate
But also a sexy @$$ vamp I’d like to date

Sure you could get your mack on with Jacob in his 1986 Rabbit
And you could pass time and teach that ‘lil dawgy how to go fetch and sit!

Yes, sadly wolf boy doesn’t make the cut
After all, he’s just ‘lil mutt

Edward’s voice, smell and face lure me in
He’s a stand up guy and before marriage he refuses to ‘sin’

Sure, I guess anyone would be lucky to have ol’ Jakey-pooh
But Mr. Sparkleface has raised the bar and he’s sure to woo

If nothing else, his dazzle stare will win ya o’er
Come on, gotta love a man that’s more mature and older!

Oh yeah…. Did I mention he sparkles like diamonds in the sunlight?
And will compose you sweet lullabies while you slumber at night

He tries to do what’s morally right
But’ll surely leave ya beggin’ for his bite

Jacob’s a friend at best
To be on his team is purely a jest

Jacob’s sometimes a pesky pest
Always TRYING to put Edward and Bella’s love to the test

Sure, after you and Edward do the ‘deed’, you may have to spring for a new headboard and pillows
But, so worth it ‘cause he’s THAT good in the sack, not like those ordinary Shmos

Jacob’s sometimes acts like a moron but Edward’s like an oxymoron……
He’s cool, he’s artic cold
But he’ll set you ablaze with his piercing eyes of gold

Why in the ‘hale’ would you pick a dog
When you could have a Grecian effin’ God?!?!

I’m team Edward because he belongs with Bells
But Shhh….secretly I wish she’d kick the bucket
Then Mr. Cullen and I’d have ‘alone time’ by our selves!

All you have to do is write something to why you are a part of a Team and what does being part of the Team mean to you. The example we used on our podcast is “Does being on Team Edward means you want Edward or you want Bella to get him?”
